What you can do for Inflammaging, pain and the brain

You’re as young as your body and mind are flexible.

Any time you don’t feel great, look for the most likely underlying culprit, inflammation. Inflammation can cause pain, depression, type 2 diabetes, arthritis, migraines, neurological, skin, eye and heart diseases. Long term inflammation is referred to as inflammaging.

Here’s what you can do to support your body’s ability to lower inflammation and pain and slow down the aging process:

Sit cross-legged on the floor three minutes daily: Nothing works as well on the hips as sitting cross-legged on the floor. I reversed a painful right hip simply by sitting on the floor daily. Start with 3 minutes and work up to 30 minutes a day for healthy hips, knees, spine and ankles.

Avoid polyunsaturated fats: The science is clear, polyunsaturated fats are inflammatory, and because they are cheap, the are now in the majority of commercial foods. Use saturated fats to lower inflammation and grass-fed butter instead of butter substitutes. Don’t worry about your cholesterol; it’s anti-inflammatory and good for your brain too.

Avoid starches: Not only do starches like pasta, bread, even gluten free bread, raise insulin, they make you fat, raise stress hormones and cause inflammation.

Avoid allergenic foods: If you have good days, bad days with mood, stiffness and pain, or are chronically in pain, it’s a good indication that something you’re eating isn’t good for you. You can get muscle tested for what foods bother you, or see an allergist and get blood tests.

Alkalize your body using biomagnets: Inflammation and an acid pH go together. Raising your pH, alkalizing your body, reduces inflammation. Try magnets at my office or get a set of magnets with an instruction manual and treat yourself at home. Magnets have been used successfully for hundreds of years.

Get immediate relief using phototherapy: If you are in pain now or have limited range of motion, headaches, brain fog or depression, Lifewave light therapy works fast and promote self-healing. Michelle Bruny, RN and I are teaching a class this month on how to use Lifewave patch technology for inflammation, pain and the brain. Check out Lifewave’s phototherapy here.

Be the light, share the light, see the light in others,

Jacque
